Description
Staff Management - SMX has a great opportunity with growth potential available for a Training Supervisor at our busy manufacturing facility in Tipton, PA. The Training Supervisor will be responsible for planning and leading training activities for all production associates. The company training that you provide will help develop employee skills, improve productivity, and improve the caliber of our work.
As the Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating in-class and on-the-job training for new and current associates. You will work closely with the Sr. Account Manager and client leadership to assess training needs and to ensure that all necessary training is completed. The ideal candidate will think creatively and develop training content that challenges and energizes associates.
What you'll do:
+ Effectively lead the Training Department to ensure successful preparation of workforce.
+ Collaborate with managers to assess training gaps and revise training topics.
+ Develop standard work documents and visual aids for new and existing employee training sessions.
+ Objectively evaluate the success of training materials and sessions.
What you bring to the table:
+ High School Diploma/GED Required.
+ Computer Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word)
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment
+ Prior training and management experience.
+ Strong presentation and teaching skills.
+ Strong organizational skills for maintenance of training records.
+ Strong customer service and client relations skills.
+ Must be a good strategic planner with the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
